Perstorp India announces an ISCC PLUS certification at the new Production site Sayakha.

The company is about to introduce the new production site Sayakha, a Greenfield facility in Gujarat, India with the intention of producing Penta, including the mass balanced renewable grades of Voxtar™.

Achieving High Standards for Sustainability

This product is providing a reduced carbon footprint, and the production and suppliance will start during the year of 2023.

The ISCC PLUS certification has been issued by COTECNA INSPECTIONS, INDIA based on design data in April 2023 as per business plan for Voxtar™ M40.

The certification regards the Processing Unit at site Sayakha. Correctness of conversion factors, mass balance calculations and traceability aspects are some of the requirements for final product refinement.

To get a certification before the start of the production shows the commitment that Perstorp takes on in order to reach the high standard for sustainability in the chemical industry.

“We are making ourselves ready for surveillance audit based on our actual operational data after six months and are proud and happy to be able to provide our customers with certified Pro-products from the very start”, comments the team working with the process of the implementation.
