𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲'𝐬 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖𝐋𝐄𝐃𝐆𝐄 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐨-𝐀𝐝𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐨-𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 An effective lignin-based bio-adhesive has been developed for use in bio-composites and bio-based materials, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional fossil-derived and formaldehyde-based binders. Lignin, one of the most abundant aromatic biopolymers on Earth, provides a unique combination of natural adhesion, thermal stability, and chemical functionality. By tailoring lignin structure and formulation, I was able to achieve strong interfacial bonding between the particles while maintaining process compatibility with composite manufacturing methods.
