Inteplast Group has entered into a purchase agreement to acquire composite decking manufacturer #Fiberon (Fiberon Holding Company LLC and its subsidiaries) from a subsidiary of Fortune Brands Innovations. The agreement includes Inteplast’s acquisition of Fiberon’s manufacturing sites in New London, North Carolina, where its headquarters are located; and one site in Meridian, Idaho. The closing is anticipated to be within 60 days, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

Fiberon will be part of the World-Pak division and its #Inteplast Building Products business unit, which is a major supplier of #PVC and #polystyrene trim, decking, moulding, and garage weatherstrip, among others. The onboarding of Fiberon, with its focus on composite boards using primarily recycled materials, will greatly increase the breadth of Inteplast’s portfolio of building products.

John Stevens, president of World-Pak, said, “The anticipated #acquisition of Fiberon provides expansion within the decking category with non-wood, capped composites, and other product extension opportunities in the outdoor living space within our current #InteplastBuildingProducts segment. Upon closing, we look forward to a successful integration as we welcome our newest colleagues. Collectively, we will provide optimal service to the market and customers.

Both companies will continue to operate independently until the closing date, upon which an acquisition-related closing announcement will be made public.

Fiberon was founded in 1997 and has served the decking industry for more than 25 years. Decking lines include ArmorGuard, Good Life, Sanctuary, Concordia, Paramount, Promenade, and its newest, Novus. Fiberon is a 2025 recipient of the Green GOOD DESIGN Award, Beam of Excellence Award, and the NADRA National + Deck Award.

Inteplast started its building products operations in 1993 and currently sells building products throughout North America. It has four strategically located plants, with its flagship plant in Lolita, TX.
