Why do some wrappers “hold the twist” and others spring back?

To get the twist effect, you typically need:

- Lower modulus.

- Lower "resilience". The material must reach permanent deformation state easier.

- Lower Melt Viscosity/ Higher Melt flow.

In PP films, the “plasticizer” can be added in masterbatch form for better performance and homogeneity. Maneuvering the plasticizer chemicals are not easy task and they need to be well dispersed in a polymeric matrix.


Processing will be also improved (higher output, lower energy consumption).


Add only what you need! Otherwise, like a medicine, you might face negative counter effects.
