Three things are happening simultaneously when graphene platelets enter a lubricant system:


→ Boundary lubrication — platelets slide between metal surfaces under load, reducing direct metal-to-metal contact

→ Tribochemical sealing — micro-pitting and surface roughness get physically filled

→ Thermal conductivity — heat generated by friction dissipates faster instead of building up


The result in independent testing: a 25% reduction in wear rate. That's the number that actually shows up on a maintenance budget line.
