#Graphenest and #LohmannGmbH, a developer of #adhesive technologies, have announced the signing of a joint-venture agreement to co-develop next-generation #graphenebasedadhesive systems for electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding and thermal management applications.

This strategic collaboration will combine Graphenest’s proprietary graphene production technology and abilities with Lohmann’s adhesive formulation expertise to deliver highly conductive, high-performance adhesive solutions for electronics, aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications.

The partnership establishes a multi-phase R&D and pre-commercialization program aimed at formulating and scaling adhesives that integrate graphene. These innovative formulations will be designed to meet rising industry demand for lightweight, efficient, and sustainable EMI shielding materials.

Under the agreement, Graphenest will serve as exclusive graphene supplier while Lohmann is responsible for the commercial exploitation of the co-developed products.

“This partnership marks a key milestone for the potential commercialization of graphene in advanced adhesives,” said Vรญtor Abrantes, CEO of Graphenest.

“This joint venture is a major step forward in bringing graphene into real-world applications,” said Dr. Eng. Bruno Figueiredo, Co-CEO of Graphenest.
