Today, Avient launched PREPERM™ Low Loss Dielectric Thermoplastics for mmWave radome applications – a new portfolio of modified polyphenylene ether (PPE) featuring four grades created to meet the surge in demand for 5G/6G-enabled radar sensing across automotive, intelligent transportation, and humanoid robotics - to help manufacturers overcome signal-loss, warpage, and BSIS compliance barriers.

Available globally, the PREPERM portfolio provides a high-performance alternative to conventional glass-fiber-reinforced polybutylene terephthalate (PBT+GF) materials for:

‣ automotive advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) component manufacturers

‣ traffic radar system producers

‣ next-generation robotics developers
