This morning, we announced further expansion of NCAMP qualifications for our high-performance Toray Cetex® TC1225 Low Melt PAEK thermoplastic composite material system.


“Following our recent NCAMP qualification of the fabric-based semi-prepreg and laminates in December 2025, we’re excited to be adding this high performance, process optimized Cetex® TC1225/T700 UD tape to our family of NCAMP databases. This further reinforces Toray’s commitment to accelerating adoption of thermoplastic composites across the aerospace supply chain,” said Scott Unger, CEO of Toray Advanced Composites. “We work closely with industry leaders to develop automation-ready AFP and ATL solutions that improve cycle times and enable cost-efficient, high-rate production.”


Toray has successfully expanded the high-performance Toray Cetex® Low Melt PAEK NCAMP databases to include TC1225/TORAYCA™ T700 uni-directional (UD) tape prepreg.


This uni-directional tape prepreg has an engineered resin rich configuration ideal for automated processes such as ATL/AFP tape layup / automated ATL/AFP. This expanded qualification and equivalency framework supports the acceleration of thermoplastic composites and their integration into primary and secondary aircraft structures.
