BASF Monomers happy to announce the next milestone for their clay foam insulation. This week, the first house in #Italy was insulated with clay foam in collaboration with our Italian distribution partner Thermiqa® and with the support of Insu-Tec Deutschland GmbH. It's great to see the clay foam family working together and tapping into a new market.



A big thank you to the teams for their trust and great collaboration. This is an important step, and we’re excited to see many more projects follow in Italy. So far, the Cavipor® clay foam system is available via our partners in Germany, the Netherlands, UK, Ireland, Belgium and Italy.

Nature created the first micro-gear long before any human engineering existed. One such example is the Issus coleoptratus (shown in the picture). Furthermore, only now are we reaching the point where injection-molded polymer microgears can approach this level of performance. Looking at the images, which one do you think is the natural gear, and which one is the molded version? It is not that easy to tell, right?
